Not because I’ve suddenly developed a love for dental work, it’s because this team makes it possible to face it.From the moment you walk in, they treat you like a human being, not “the difficult patient,” and I am one. The assistants and nurses are unbelievably kind, they will literally hold your hand for IVs, talk you through everything without judgment, answer every single question asked (even if it’s the 10th time), and somehow manage to make terrifying moments manageable. I was never rushed, dismissed, or made to feel ridiculous for being afraid.I’m recovering after a long appointment for a decade’s worth of fillings and a crown under IV sedation, and it went exactly as promised. The team communicated clearly, respected my fears, and took incredible care of me every step of the way. I remember nothing I didn’t need to remember, and I woke up safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. We brought our 9 year old in for his first fillings. Obviously he was a little nervous and scared. The moment he walked in Alexis and Mattie came to say hi and ensured him, he was going to be ok.
